Therefore both days begin with a period of formal teaching. During these periods candidates are taught how to construct answers to the majority of questions one encounters in the Part 2 Clinical. The first day addresses the long case and the second day is dedicated to PMPs. Many of the techniques are generic to both parts of the clinical examination. Therefore the period of didactic teaching is much shorter on the second day. There are two courses held before each examination, one in London and one in Cambridge.
